Welcome

This web site is for all former pupils, staff, parents and friends of St Augustine’s College and Abbey School who attended the school, initially at Madeley Court, Hemingford Grey, Cambridgeshire, then at different locations in Ramsgate, including the Grange and Assumption House and finally at Westgate. Although the school closed in 1995 after 130 years, there are many former old boys who keep in touch with each other and many others who would like to, but may have lost contact over the years. This web site is being developed to provide news, information about events and an online archive of the history of the school with photographs.

We update this section regularly to give information regarding our Forthcoming Events, including details about the event, dates and times, venue details and Google location details… Our new Online Booking Link with easy Online payment link appears on the Home Page and updated for each event.

Articles

We post archive articles periodically regarding the lives of deceased members of the OA’s and other OA articles which we think of interest.

Documents

This section is under construction and will display easy documented and easy accessible archives of our old School Magazines and other interesting documents.

Galleries

Enclosed within this section are the Photo Galleries covering a pictorial history of our school dating from 1865 to its closure in 1995.
We also add photos of our latest OA events and gatherings to the Galleries Page.
